ISRO- Indian Space Research organisation
ISRO is the space
agency of India. It was founded on 15 august 1969. As initially its started
as INCOSPAR in 1962. But on the recommendation of Vikram
Sarabhai in 1969 ISRO comes in existence. ISRO plays important role for development of space technology and service for the nation. ISRO developed many technology and serve the Nation.
*ISRO is the sixth largest space agency all over the world.
*ISRO built first Indian satellite named Aryabhatta with help of
Russia in 1975 placed in the orbit.
*Rohini is the first satellite which placed by ISRO in the orbit.
*ISRO maintains communication satellites INSAT and remote sensing satellite.
* ISRO develops many application for nation such as :
Broadcast
Weather forecast
Disaster management tool
Geographic information system
Navigation
Distance education satellite
Cartography
* For self reliance in space filed and cost effectiveness in this ISRO have developed the launch vehicle

LUNAR MISSION
ISRO send its 1st lunar mission on 22 oct 2008
CHANDERAYAAN-1 . Its discovered the lunar water in the form of ice.
Another mission CHANDERAYAAN -2 , sent on 22 july 2019. This mission go through hard landing and crashed on the moon surface.
This mission have three measure parts. Lander Rover and Orbiter.
MARS MISSION —MANGALYAAN-1 -
This mission was launched on 5
NOV 2013. After this successful mission
ISRO becomes the 4th space agency to reach on MARS.
MANGALYAAN -2-
It is a Mars orbiter Mission also called
Mangalyaan -2. It is the 2nd attempt of India to reach the surface
of MARS. It is expected to be launch in 2024.
UPCOMING MISSION OF ISRO
GAGANYAAN-
* Its is space flight mission with human. A
spacecraft carry the human into the space. A fully autonomous spacecraft of
3.69 tones. Gaganyaan mission have time
span of 7 days.
*It is jointly designed by ISRO and HAL
ADITYA L-1
1st Indian solar mission. Its is the 1st Solar corona-graph spacecraft mission for the study of sun. it expected to be launched in end of 2020.
SUKARAYAAN - A mission by ISRO expected to be in 2023 for
the study of the planet VENUS.
